about us

Over 70 years in the industry; safe, smart and dependable.

Elite Communications, LLC has over 70 years combined experience in the telecommunications industry. We believe in working hard, taking the time to do it right and thinking about the next technician that might open the box.

Don Hatcher

I fell in love with technology and electronics at a young age, ultimately leading to a career in the telecommunications industry. Eventually I became a DSL Technician and later, an Instructor; working with some of the largest providers (such as Centurylink, Frontier, Windstream and AT&T.) I've earned over 27 related certifications, and continue to expand my knowledge by trying to learn something new every day.

I think fiber to the house (PON) will be around for many years to come. It's now what Digital Subscriber Line (DSL) was in the early 2000's.

Jim Noles

My sister and her husband both worked for Southwestern Bell, I was in college at the time and searching for employment, so I gave it a chance and applied. I worked for that company for over 30 years, filling almost every position - craftsman, supervisor - you name it. I retired from AT&T, and my career led me to work in communications for a national railroad company.

An individual can make a life-long successful career in the fiber optics industry. I've seen it grow from its infancy to the most profitable and widely used form of transmission for the communications industry.

Steve Maynard

I’ve been in this industry for over 3 years. After being in the automotive industry for 30 years, I wanted a new challenge. My brother introduced me to Don and Jim at Elite Communications, and they suggested that I come and train with them to see if it was something I would be interested in. And I did!

I’ve become the lead Tech in the Kentucky & Ohio area for the team. I see this as a great way to make a living; now, and for years to come. This would be a great career for anyone to get into.
